Channel Catfish
Pond Stocking Information
Black Crappie
Bluegills
Our Channel Catfish originate from the Mississippi drainage basin.  The original stock was selected from disease-free fast growing channel catfish aquaculture stock.

Our catfish can be fed natural food from the pond or you may feed them pelletized food.  When feeding pellets, the catfish may grow to a larger size at a faster rate because a food source is always available and little effort is needed to consume formulated food.

Channel catfish can be stocked when water temperatures are between 55 degrees F and 75 degrees F. Temperatures can be lower for fall stocking - only. High water temperatures in the '80s should be avoided. These water temperatures usually occur in July and August here in the Keystone state.
